Senior Electrical Engineer, Server Hardware — Taiwan Remote

Lead electrical design for server boards and systems supporting large-scale AI data centers. Own ODM integration, hardware validation, and high-speed interface development from Taiwan.

Descriere

  • Own schematic design, component selection, and power-tree definition for complex server and data-center boards
  • Establish system architecture, high-speed interface requirements, power-delivery strategy, and thermal and mechanical constraints
  • Create board and system designs for CPUs, accelerators, memory subsystems, high-speed I/O, and advanced power architectures
  • Coordinate with Taiwan ODMs on design reviews, issue resolution, schedules, and manufacturing readiness
  • Contribute to customer technical discussions, requirements definition, and design-in activities
  • Work with SI/PI teams on PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, UCIe, CPO, and other high-speed links
  • Lead board bring-up, debugging, and system validation with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers
  • Coordinate with packaging, SI/PI, firmware, and mechanical teams to deliver integrated systems
  • Lead DFM/DFT reviews, support factory builds, and resolve production issues with ODM partners

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline
  • At least 8 years of experience in board design and system-level hardware development
  • Substantial experience with server, data-center, or high-performance computing platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of schematic capture, power architecture, and high-speed digital design
  • Direct experience collaborating with Taiwan ODMs, such as Quanta, Wistron, Inventec, or Foxconn
  • Working knowledge of PCIe, CXL, DDR, Ethernet, CPO, and other high-speed interfaces
  • Practical experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers
  • Ability to lead technical discussions across customers, partners, and internal functions
  • Knowledge of signal-integrity and power-integrity fundamentals is advantageous
  • Experience with server-grade power delivery, including VRMs and multiphase regulators, is advantageous
  • Authorization to work in Taiwan
