Senior DevOps Platform Engineer — Italy Remote

Build AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability for Tundr. Support developers and help shape the event-driven architecture of its fintech platform.

Descriere

  • Keep all AWS services operational by managing infrastructure as code with CDK
  • Own and evolve GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines with deployments to AWS
  • Support developers with feature environments and AWS architecture replicas for testing
  • Build Tundr’s observability and monitoring system from the ground up, including metrics, SLIs, SLOs, dashboards, and alerts
  • Establish standards that enable developers to monitor their features independently
  • Contribute to AWS architecture decisions and the design and configuration of new services
  • Work with developers to operate Tundr’s event-driven system
  • Partner with the person who built the infrastructure and share ownership of it
  • Work with backend developers on the architecture of the entire product as part of the Platform team

Cerințe

  • Bring 7–8 years of experience, including substantial work in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering for a production product
  • Have strong knowledge of AWS and its managed services
  • Have experience with Infrastructure as Code, using CDK or comparable tools such as Terraform
  • Have experience managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Bring hands-on experience with observability and monitoring, including metrics, alerting, dashboards, and SLIs/SLOs
  • Communicate exceptionally well and explain complex concepts clearly
  • Have strong Italian language skills
  • Have experience with AWS serverless architectures, including Lambda, ECS on Fargate, DynamoDB, Aurora, API Gateway, SQS, and Cognito
  • Have experience with GitHub Actions
  • Have experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms
  • Know Go
  • Have worked in startup or scale-up environments on an established product serving many customers and handling substantial data
  • Be interested in fintech or payments
  • Be comfortable working independently and collaborating closely with developers
  • Be comfortable working remotely with direct, synchronous communication across the team
