Descriere

  • Analyse and interpret datasets to produce actionable insights and recommendations
  • Partner with the Head of Product to assess opportunities before development and evaluate the impact of launched products
  • Plan and evaluate A/B tests and feature releases
  • Investigate user behaviour through funnel analysis and event tracking
  • Link app usage data with policy, pricing and claims information
  • Assess pricing, business and product performance
  • Spot trends, opportunities and areas that warrant further analysis
  • Examine claims and loss ratios to assess risk and commercial outcomes
  • Maintain metric definitions and help develop the semantic layer
  • Work with BI and Data Engineering teams on analytics and data initiatives
  • Expand self-service analytics through stakeholder guidance, dashboards, metrics and documentation
  • Help the Product team launch and refine products and features

Cerințe

  • Professional data experience in insurance, ideally personal lines and preferably motor insurance
  • Strong statistical judgement, including awareness of analytical assumptions and limitations
  • Commercially minded approach that connects analysis with business performance, customer outcomes and commercial decisions
  • Advanced SQL and Python skills for analysis, modelling and problem-solving
  • Confidence working with complex datasets and combining information from multiple sources
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across BI, Data Engineering, Product, Pricing and related teams
  • Background as a Data Analyst, Pricing Analyst, Data Scientist, BI Analyst or in a comparable analytical role
  • Curiosity about emerging data methods, including data science and AI
  • Ability to independently turn an unclear business question into analysis and a recommendation
  • Experience with experiments, A/B testing or feature rollouts is advantageous
  • Experience using Mixpanel, Amplitude or GA4 with a data warehouse is advantageous
  • Experience building machine learning models and assessing their performance and accuracy is advantageous
