  • Lead major technology consulting engagements and deepen relationships with strategic clients
  • Manage technology risks and shape practical solutions with analytics, automation, and modern tools
  • Direct technical and commercial work for the AWS Platform Engineering practice
  • Set architecture direction for strategic engagements and guide complex technical decisions
  • Resolve the most critical technical challenges across multiple engagements
  • Create repeatable delivery standards and develop engineers and architects
  • Build trusted relationships with senior clients and link delivery quality to account growth
  • Lead technical work on strategic, complex AWS client engagements
  • Define architecture direction and engineering standards for AWS Platform Engineering
  • Advise technology executives and architecture, infrastructure, and engineering leaders on cloud strategy and AWS decisions
  • Guide Solutions Architects and Senior Cloud Engineers through difficult architecture and delivery work
  • Assess and shape designs for AWS infrastructure, networking, security, resilience, migration, modernization, automation, and operating models
  • Step in when delivery risks or technical complexity are high
  • Keep engagements aligned with client goals, engineering quality, security needs, and sustainable operations
  • Create reusable reference architectures, engineering frameworks, accelerators, and intellectual property
  • Strengthen AWS delivery skills through mentoring, coaching, design reviews, and knowledge sharing
  • Work with AWS alliance and pre-sales leaders to develop strategic opportunities
  • Turn client needs and delivery experience into new services and solution patterns
  • Support technical solution design, estimates, executive presentations, proposals, and statements of work
  • Sustain senior client relationships that generate further advisory and engineering work
  • Take ownership of or make a substantial contribution to sales quota, pipeline growth, and conversion
  • Represent AWS Platform Engineering with AWS technical teams, strategic clients, and industry stakeholders
  • Mentor teams, encourage collaboration, and contribute to training and development

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as MIS, information systems, or computer science
  • At least 9 years of experience in professional services or industry
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification required
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and AWS Certified Security – Specialty certifications preferred
  • Extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and governing enterprise AWS environments
  • Ability to influence architecture and technology strategy in large or complex organizations
  • Experience leading multiple complex cloud engagements or portfolios of technical work
  • Strong architecture skills spanning infrastructure, networking, security, automation, resilience, governance, operations, and migration
  • Ability to advise senior executives while maintaining credibility with highly technical engineering teams
  • Substantial experience shaping and estimating complex cloud transformation engagements
  • Ability to identify client needs and turn them into valuable consulting and engineering work
  • Experience developing technical leaders and improving engineering standards across an organization
  • Strong grasp of consulting economics, delivery risk, scope management, and commercial decisions
  • Consulting, professional services, or systems integration experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with Amazon Bedrock agents, knowledge bases, and guardrails
  • Experience with AWS Step Functions or similar orchestration services
  • Knowledge of API design and integration patterns, including REST and event-driven architectures
  • Knowledge of data architecture for ingesting and indexing procurement and logistics data in agent knowledge bases
  • Experience with infrastructure as code using CDK or CloudFormation
  • Knowledge of IAM, networking, and VPC design in AWS environments
  • Familiarity with ERP integration patterns, including JDE and Oracle FBDI export format
  • Ability to translate procurement workflows into technical architecture
  • Experience leading agentic AI or generative AI implementations beyond chatbots
  • Successful completion of a background check
