Descriere

  • Own the Operations data model across reconciliation, treasury, payments, lifecycle, and onboarding
  • Convert raw operational events into documented, reliable data products in the data warehouse
  • Collaborate with Operations stakeholders on daily questions, ad hoc analysis, and recurring reports
  • Act as Operations’ primary data contact for analytics and reporting needs
  • Enable self-service access for routine and repeatable operational questions
  • Examine end-to-end workflows to uncover manual work and weak handoffs
  • Find tools and automation opportunities that address operational challenges
  • Create and maintain metrics for reconciliation accuracy, treasury positions, payment outcomes, and onboarding conversion
  • Follow and contribute to the central metric architecture
  • Take part in data quality and governance initiatives
  • Recommend and deliver improvements to processes and products
  • Build domain knowledge and deliver an initial operational fix or data product
  • Take end-to-end ownership of metrics for at least one Operations sub-domain
  • Contribute to cross-functional Risk and TRI discussions
  • Develop independent ownership of operational data and workflows

Cerințe

  • Professional experience in analytics engineering or senior analytical roles involving technical data projects
  • Practical data-modeling experience with a modern platform such as Databricks, Spark, or dbt
  • Advanced SQL capability for analytical work
  • Ability to apply Python where SQL is not the right fit
  • Skill in eliciting requirements from Operations stakeholders and translating unclear requests into clear, documented metrics
  • Careful, precise working style, particularly with regulatory and financial reporting data
  • Ability to align different stakeholder interpretations of the same metric
  • Understanding of operational workflows and the ability to select effective tools or automation
  • Strong autonomy and self-management
  • Working familiarity with AI-assisted tools and workflows
  • Experience in banking, fintech, treasury, or payments operations is preferred
  • Experience collaborating across several stakeholder groups is preferred
  • Familiarity with regulatory or financial reporting requirements is preferred
  • Some exposure to reporting through a BI layer is preferred
