Support pricing decisions across Daimler Truck North America’s truck and mobility businesses through analytics, models, and BI dashboards. Turn data into recommendations that support profitable growth.
Descriere
- Analyze pricing, sales, margin, cost, and competitor data to inform strategic pricing decisions.
- Build and maintain pricing models that surface trends, customer behavior, market dynamics, and revenue opportunities.
- Assess competitive positioning and develop pricing recommendations through quantitative analysis.
- Conduct pricing elasticity, profitability, and market basket analyses.
- Prepare pricing publication files and recommendations for price book updates.
- Deliver ad hoc analyses for business-critical decisions.
- Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reports in Power BI and Tableau.
- Automate reporting to track pricing performance, sales trends, margin impact, and business outcomes.
- Build analytical frameworks to identify trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities.
- Present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders and leaders.
- Maintain and improve pricing systems, workflows, and analytical tools.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and support deployment of pricing and analytics solutions.
- Document business processes, pricing logic, and analytical methods.
- Find opportunities to automate reporting and improve operational efficiency.
- Lead or support cross-functional pricing, analytics, and business intelligence projects.
- Collaborate with Pricing, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, IT, and Analytics teams.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Pricing Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related analytical role.
- Strong experience with SQL, Snowflake, Python, Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and analytical data models.
- Strong statistical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex analyses to nontechnical audiences.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country where the position is located when they apply.
- Final candidates must successfully complete a criminal background check.
- Final candidates may be required to complete a pre-employment drug screen.
- Experience in automotive, aftermarket parts, manufacturing, or distribution is an advantage.
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, revenue management, and competitive intelligence is an advantage.
- Experience with machine learning, forecasting, or predictive analytics is an advantage.
- Experience with Alteryx, SAS, Snowpark, or cloud-based analytics platforms is an advantage.
- Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and enterprise data architecture is an advantage.
- Experience working in Agile project environments is an advantage.
- An MBA or master’s degree in a related field is an advantage.
