iOS Software Engineer – Snap Inc., Los Angeles Onsite
Build high-performance Snapchat camera experiences at Snap Inc. by designing Objective-C software and delivering stable mobile features.
Descriere
- Develop and enhance high-performance mobile applications
- Create reliable products with smooth runtime performance
- Design, architect, and implement thoroughly tested Objective-C software for Snapchat camera experiences
- Plan, develop, and release new product features
- Assess technical tradeoffs and their engineering impact
- Partner with Design on user-interface and infrastructure practices
- Review code to maintain strong quality standards
- Apply AI tools and rapid engineering workflows to build and ship scalable services
- Maintain standards for correctness, security, and production readiness
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- At least two years of post-bachelor’s software development experience, or a relevant master’s degree with one year of post-graduate experience, or a relevant PhD
- Hands-on experience developing iOS applications
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Objective-C runtime and underlying system processes
- Understanding of operating-system internals, compilers, and optimization for mobile, low-power systems
- Proficiency in iOS multithreading and performance optimization
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
- Knowledge of software design patterns and established iOS development practices
- Ability to use AI tools effectively and assess generated code for architectural soundness, performance issues, and security risks
- Adaptability when learning and applying evolving AI systems and tools
- Professional experience with Objective-C and iOS
- Professional experience with Swift
- Professional experience with C or C++
- Experience with OpenGL or Metal
