Intermediate Kotlin Backend Developer (Portugal, Remote)
Build distributed systems and microservices with Kotlin for Imaginary Cloud, a software development and UX/UI design company. This full-time remote role is based in Portugal and supports clients around the world.

- Build clear, intuitive digital products
- Contribute to software development, problem-solving, project management, and collaboration
- Design distributed systems and microservices
- Work with cloud-native technologies and infrastructure
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams across industries and projects
- Develop projects for clients around the world
- Take part in mentoring and performance reviews
Cerințe
- At least three years of experience, with a strong focus on Kotlin for server-side development
- Practical experience designing distributed systems and microservices
- Familiarity with cloud-native environments, including AWS and Kubernetes
- Proficiency with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Experience with testing tools such as JUnit and Testcontainers
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Live in Portugal or be willing and legally eligible to live and work there
