Forward-Deployed AI Engineer
Build production Claude agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and MCP integrations at Collectiv, a boutique analytics, planning, and AI consulting firm. Work with enterprise clients to deliver secure AI solutions with measurable results.
Descriere
- Design, build, and launch production AI solutions using Anthropic’s Claude platform.
- Create agents, assistants, and knowledge search tools with the Claude API.
- Develop agentic workflows with the Claude Agent SDK, including multi-step orchestration, subagents, and human review controls.
- Build and deploy MCP servers that connect Claude to client systems such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SharePoint, CRM, and ERP platforms.
- Deploy Claude through the Anthropic API, Microsoft Foundry, Amazon Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.
- Refine system prompts, tool definitions, and Agent Skills through testing and user feedback.
- Configure and roll out Claude for Enterprise, including connectors, Projects, Skills, and administrative controls.
- Use Claude Code to speed up delivery and support its adoption by client engineering teams.
- Create reusable Skills, plugins, and prompt libraries.
- Build complete RAG pipelines covering data ingestion, chunking, embedding, vector and hybrid search, and grounding.
- Connect Claude solutions to Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and other enterprise data platforms.
- Integrate Claude solutions with enterprise systems using APIs, Azure Functions, and event-driven architectures.
- Create evaluation sets and test harnesses to measure answer quality, grounding, hallucination rates, safety, latency, and cost.
- Add logging, monitoring, tracing, and cost controls to deployed agents.
- Apply security, identity, and data governance controls.
- Follow version control, CI/CD, and code review practices.
- Work with client stakeholders to gather requirements, lead working sessions, demonstrate progress, and align expectations.
- Turn business problems into scoped AI use cases with clear success measures.
- Train client users and engineers, and support adoption after launch.
- Contribute reusable patterns, accelerators, and documentation to Collectiv’s AI practice.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least four years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or analytics engineering.
- At least one year of hands-on experience building and deploying generative AI or LLM solutions in production or client environments.
- Practical experience with the Claude API, including tool use.
- Experience building or deploying MCP servers.
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code or the Claude Agent SDK.
- Strong Python or TypeScript skills.
- Experience building RAG solutions, including vector search and document ingestion.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform; Azure is preferred, with AWS or Google Cloud also valued.
- Ability to work independently in a client-facing consulting role.
- Preferred: Experience deploying Claude through Microsoft Foundry, Amazon Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.
- Preferred: Experience rolling out Claude for Enterprise or Claude for Work to business users.
- Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Power BI.
- Preferred: Familiarity with LLMOps practices such as evaluation frameworks, prompt management, and model monitoring.
- Preferred: Knowledge of AI security, privacy, and compliance in regulated industries.
- Preferred: Consulting experience with multiple clients or across multiple industries.
- Preferred: Anthropic training or certifications, or relevant Azure certifications.
