Descriere

  • Lead and expand the Governance & Access team
  • Set the roadmap for governance, identity and access management, roles and permissions, compliance, and related security capabilities
  • Determine how these capabilities should support agents operating on Render as well as human users
  • Work with dedicated product and design partners to connect the roadmap to customer and platform priorities
  • Establish a rigorous hiring and interviewing process as the team grows
  • Guide major technical and architectural decisions across access, identity, and governance systems
  • Support engineers through coaching, performance management, and career development
  • Coordinate with the Security team and the broader Growth and Expansion organization
  • Make pragmatic tradeoffs among security, usability, speed, guarantees, and iteration

Cerințe

  • Demonstrated ability to lead people effectively
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting as the team’s scope develops
  • Experience establishing and scaling a team from an early stage
  • History of hiring, managing, and developing engineers, including performance management
  • Ability to collaborate closely with product and design partners without taking on their functions
  • Experience with security, governance, or access management, such as IAM, RBAC, or compliance is a plus
  • Familiarity with products built for AI agents or agentic systems is a plus
  • Experience managing senior, IC5-level engineers is a plus
  • Background in developer platforms or B2B SaaS products is a plus
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • New visa sponsorship is generally unavailable; existing visa transfers may be sponsored at Render’s discretion with business authorization
