Business Analyst - Lisbon Hybrid
Business Analyst responsible for Agile requirements, process modeling, data integration, and testing. Support Caixa Mágica Software’s banking technology project in Lisbon.
Descriere
- Own each requirement from initial definition through delivery to the end user
- Operate in an Agile setting by facilitating iterations and maintaining backlogs
- Lead workshops and interviews to gather, assess, and document detailed business needs
- Convert high-level requirements into functional and technical specifications, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Process Maps
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in line with MVP objectives
- Review current-state processes and create more effective future-state workflows
- Spot bottlenecks, gaps, and opportunities for automation or digital transformation
- Serve as the main connection between business teams and IT or development functions
- Align stakeholders on project scope and delivery timelines
- Explain complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Lead testing activities, including test strategy, complex IST scenarios for data flows and APIs, and regression testing
- Oversee defects through resolution and confirm requirements with end users
- Evaluate data ecosystems, investigate quality problems, determine root causes, and apply data-driven insights to test assumptions and measure solution outcomes
Cerințe
- Degree or equivalent educational background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Management
- At least three years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable IT role
- Professional experience with referential administration, data management, and databases
- Skilled in eliciting and documenting requirements through User Stories, Use Cases, and Business Rules
- Advanced process-modeling capability using BPMN and UML
- Strong command of Agile practices, including backlog refinement, sprint management, and MVP feature prioritization
- Thorough knowledge of testing processes, including complex API or interface Integration System Testing and User Acceptance Testing
- Experience managing defects and tracing requirements through to test cases
- Sound understanding of application architecture, system interfaces, data flows, and integration patterns such as APIs and data virtualization
- Ability to assess data quality and maintain consistency across multiple referential data sources
- Proficiency with ALM Octane, Jira, and Confluence
- Fluent English is required
- Able to understand end-user functional requests and explain and support change
