  • Direct multiple engineering teams responsible for on-premises SQL Server, Java, COBOL, Linux, Mainframe, and .NET investment management platforms
  • Recruit, mentor, evaluate, and develop engineering talent
  • Direct planning, prioritization, estimation, release coordination, and timely delivery of enhancements, fixes, and business-led changes
  • Strengthen platform reliability through production support, incident and problem management, on-call coverage, root-cause analysis, and service-level adherence
  • Oversee data warehouse and reporting operations, including batch scheduling, ETL, SQL development, data quality, reconciliation, and period-end reporting
  • Work with investment management, finance, operations, and risk leaders to convert business priorities into actionable technical plans
  • Keep technical documentation, runbooks, and institutional knowledge current
  • Administer change governance, release controls, access management, and audit preparation
  • Oversee relationships with vendors and third-party data providers
  • Lead capacity planning, infrastructure lifecycle activities, patching, upgrades, and disaster recovery exercises
  • Present delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and operational measures to senior technology and business leaders

Prasības

  • At least 10 years of experience in data engineering, application engineering, platform engineering, enterprise data warehousing, or related technology leadership
  • Experience directing large data warehouse and application teams, ideally across SQL Server, Java, COBOL, Linux, Mainframe, .NET, or other on-premises enterprise warehouse platforms
  • Strong knowledge of relational database design, dimensional modeling, stored procedures, query and performance optimization, ETL and batch processing, job scheduling, and data reconciliation in on-premises environments
  • Ability to collaborate with business teams and senior stakeholders to design and deliver technical applications
  • Experience leading technical teams, growing engineering capability, and delivering complex programs involving multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of enterprise security, access management, data privacy, audit obligations, production support, incident response, and operational resilience
  • Practical experience supporting, troubleshooting, and releasing applications in Java and .NET environments
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to turn business priorities into executable technology plans
  • Experience in investment management, asset management, insurance, capital markets, financial services, or risk analytics is preferred
  • Experience with investment data platforms, portfolio analytics, market data, research data, or finance reporting systems is preferred
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET or established web-based reporting applications is preferred
  • Familiarity with Oracle SQR or comparable batch reporting and data processing technologies is preferred
  • Experience integrating internal and external financial data providers is preferred
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, source control practices, data quality frameworks, and production observability is preferred
  • Experience working in a regulated enterprise with formal architecture, security, privacy, and governance processes is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred
