Purchasing Coordinator, Saudi Arabia (Remote)

Coordinate purchasing operations for a manufacturing business in Saudi Arabia, from purchase orders and supplier deliveries to customs paperwork and material transfers. Support shipment clearance, invoice processing, supplier claims, and product certificate renewals.

Apraksts

  • Develop the monthly Material Requirement Plan (MRP).
  • Prepare purchase orders and send them to suppliers.
  • Track supplier delivery of orders and documents.
  • Coordinate with the Central Logistics Department (CLD) to clear shipments.
  • Request freight quotations from CLD for FOB shipments.
  • Work with Import/Export to obtain shipment certificates, including Saber, FASAH, and Value Chains.
  • Submit invoices promptly to Accounting.
  • File documented claims with suppliers for missing or non-conforming materials.
  • Follow up with Accounting on payment of supplier dues.
  • Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports.
  • Source materials requested on Planning’s RM Shortage List.
  • Monitor and update customs duty exemptions for raw materials to avoid duty payments.
  • Prepare transfer requests (TRs) for inter-company material movements.
  • Coordinate with Import/Export and Product Managers to renew Product Certificates of Conformity.
  • Follow up with warehouse teams in each country to ensure orders arrive before detention charges apply and gather feedback on quality issues.
