Firewall Security Engineer (Fortinet, Check Point, Ubika WAF) – Atos, Mumbai

Atos is seeking a firewall security engineer in Mumbai to manage Fortinet, Check Point, and Ubika WAF environments. The role covers Level 2 incident response, security policy administration, VPN operations, and web application protection.

Apraksts

  • Manage Fortinet FortiGate and Check Point firewall environments
  • Maintain, review, recertify, clean up, and optimize firewall security policies
  • Configure NAT and routing policies, object groups, high-availability clusters, and security gateways
  • Support Internet, Extranet, and DMZ security architectures
  • Upgrade firmware, apply patches, remediate vulnerabilities, and validate configurations
  • Resolve Level 2 firewall and network security incidents
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, VPN, and security policy issues
  • Analyze firewall logs and security events to identify root causes
  • Coordinate with L3 engineers, vendors, and infrastructure teams during major incidents
  • Contribute to post-incident reviews and recommend corrective actions
  • Manage Ubika WAF policies and application protection configurations
  • Tune WAF rules, investigate alerts and attacks, and support secure web application publishing
  • Configure URL filtering, access controls, bot protection, and application security policies
  • Review WAF policies and conduct security assessments
  • Review firewall and WAF events and support audit and compliance requirements
  • Produce operational and compliance reports
  • Implement firewall and WAF changes through approved change-management processes
  • Prepare implementation, rollback, and validation plans, and take part in CAB discussions
  • Maintain security diagrams, policies, operational runbooks, troubleshooting documentation, knowledge articles, and handover documents
  • Provide technical support for audits and governance reviews

Prasības

  • Bring 3–5 years of experience.
  • Have mandatory expertise in at least one of Fortinet firewalls, Check Point firewalls, or Ubika WAF.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of firewall security technologies.
  • Understand threat prevention and access controls.
  • Know VPN technologies.
  • Understand web application security.
  • Have experience administering, operating, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise network security infrastructure.
  • Be able to provide Level 2 support for security incidents.
  • Be able to manage firewall policies, NAT and routing policies, and object groups.
  • Have experience with firewall high-availability clusters and security gateways.
  • Understand Internet, Extranet, and DMZ security architectures.
  • Be able to upgrade firmware, apply patches, and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Be able to analyze firewall logs and security events.
  • Have experience with Ubika WAF policies, application protection configurations, WAF rule tuning, URL filtering, access control, bot protection, and application security policies.
  • Understand security monitoring, audit, compliance, vulnerability management, and change management processes.
  • Be able to prepare implementation, rollback, and validation plans.
  • Be able to maintain network security diagrams, policies, runbooks, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge articles.
