Actuarial Intern, Property and Casualty Insurance
Support Desjardins’ property and casualty insurance actuarial work through data management, reporting, modelling, reserving, and individual projects.
Apraksts
- Support the Property and Casualty Actuarial Department with rate and cost-benefit analysis, research, modelling, reserving, and other analyses for business partners across marketing, business development, claims, and underwriting.
- Help manage actuarial databases.
- Help produce recurring internal reports on product and market results, auto and property quote success rates, market position, renewal and lapse experience, and net profit margin.
- Take independent responsibility for one or more projects.
Prasības
- Working toward a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics.
- Experience with WTW Radar is an asset.
- Equivalent combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of property and casualty insurance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Access.
- Knowledge of SAS.
- One or more completed SOA or CAS exams are an asset.
