Apraksts

  • Oversee credit analysis for a portfolio of complex financial institutions.
  • Produce forward-looking analysis that informs rating opinions.
  • Spot emerging risks by assessing company performance, peer trends, market developments, and financial services themes.
  • Develop research and insights for investors, issuers, and other stakeholders.
  • Direct portfolio surveillance and analytical updates.
  • Assess financial and credit data, verify inputs, reconcile metrics, and record assumptions and model changes.
  • Apply approved generative AI and automation tools with human oversight.
  • Explain complex analysis in writing and in discussions with rating committees and external stakeholders.
  • Build productive relationships with issuers, investors, and market participants.
  • Guide junior analysts in credit fundamentals, financial modeling, analytical quality, and responsible technology use.
  • Enhance analytical processes, tools, and workflows, and help teams adopt new capabilities.
  • Uphold standards for methodology, documentation, confidentiality, data governance, and responsible AI use.

Prasības

  • Demonstrated ability in credit and financial analysis
  • Strong grasp of financial services and developing credit risks
  • Clear, effective written and spoken communication
  • Background coaching or mentoring junior analysts
  • Sound judgment and careful attention to accuracy, analytical rigor, documentation, confidentiality, and governance
  • Five to ten years of relevant experience in corporate credit analysis or a related financial services field
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience applying generative AI, large language models, data tools, or automation in analytical workflows
  • Experience making processes more effective through standardization, tools, or automation
  • Final-stage candidates are required to attend at least one in-person interview
  • Employees must work from the office at least two days each week
  • Employment depends on compliance with S&P Global’s Securities Disclosure and Trading Policy
