Epic Billing and Learning Specialist

Lead Epic billing, Healthy Planet, and Quality Reporting training for OCHIN’s nonprofit healthcare network. Improve member workflows, adoption, and regulatory readiness through remote learning and engagement.

Aprašymas

  • Lead implementation, optimization, and member engagement for Quality Reporting, Healthy Planet tools, and related Epic workflows
  • Increase member adoption of Healthy Planet and Quality Reporting solutions
  • Coordinate communication among members, account managers, and internal teams
  • Manage proactive communications, issue resolution, and ongoing relationships
  • Develop, deliver, and assess interactive training across Epic modules and operational workflows
  • Lead workflow validation, discovery, and gap-analysis sessions
  • Deliver customized individual and group coaching virtually and onsite
  • Develop and maintain user guides, lesson plans, scenario-based learning, instructional videos, and workflow documentation
  • Guide members through operational changes using structured change-management practices
  • Evaluate workflows, recommend improvements, support optimization projects, and lead initiatives that improve operations, system utilization, and regulatory compliance
  • Investigate industry best practices and recommend program improvements
  • Coach colleagues and support their professional development
  • Assess training impact and system utilization using performance data and member feedback
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Reikalavimai

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • At least two years of experience in a comparable role
  • At least one year of experience in training delivery, course development, instructional design, and technical writing
  • Healthcare certification or experience with Epic electronic medical records or inpatient systems in a clinical or hospital environment is preferred
  • Epic Resolute Professional Billing or Hospital Billing proficiency or certification is desired
  • Resolute Professional Billing or Resolute Hospital Billing training credentials are required
  • At least one year of instructional design experience
  • Experience architecting and deploying learning management systems in a corporate setting
  • Experience creating and editing virtual learning content for adult audiences
  • Experience working in a post-production continuous-improvement environment with knowledge of standard workflows and content organization
  • Understanding of change-management practices
  • Availability to work occasionally outside standard hours to deliver training
  • Proven project-management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently
  • Foundational knowledge of adult-learning theories, tools, and methods
  • Completion of a 50–60-minute competency assessment before the team interview is required
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical or religious exemption is required before the hire date
  • Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office
