Senior Front-End SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) – Remote, United States
Join Quanata as a senior SDET building scalable automated testing for web front-end products across its insurance technology platform. You’ll develop test frameworks, integrate automation with CI/CD, and lead integration, regression, and performance testing.

- Design and optimize scalable automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts for web front-end products across multiple product streams
- Lead integration, regression, and performance testing initiatives
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and QA teams to refine requirements and testing strategies
- Develop and maintain automated frameworks, tools, and scripts for web front-end products (15%)
- Create and run integration, regression, and performance tests with industry-standard tools (35%)
- Build reusable test automation solutions and connect testing artifacts to CI/CD pipelines
- Plan testing for new features and develop focused test scenarios (25%)
- Evaluate and introduce automation tools and techniques aligned with industry best practices (25%)
- Resolve blockers proactively to support reliable test execution and delivery
- Improve testing practices through ongoing tooling innovation and process refinement

- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field
- At least 8 years of experience in the offered role or a comparable software testing position
- At least 7 years of experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks
- At least 7 years of experience automating UI or web UI tests with Selenium WebDriver or an equivalent tool
- At least 7 years of experience researching and evaluating testing frameworks and tools
- At least 7 years of experience identifying performance or process bottlenecks
- At least 7 years of programming or scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or similar languages
- At least 5 years of experience with integration and regression testing
- At least 4 years of experience using BDD, POM, or comparable test-structure patterns
- At least 4 years of experience integrating test artifacts with CI/CD pipelines
- At least 2 years of experience working with SQL and databases
- Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
- Technical leadership experience including code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing facilitation
- Successful completion of pre-hire technical assessments covering Python coding, framework design, exploratory bug finding and test-case review, and CI/CD integration
- Ability to work from anywhere in the United States, excluding U.S. territories
- Availability to travel for team meetings or company gatherings approximately twice per year
