Senior Compliance Testing Specialist - Bread Financial Hybrid
Lead compliance testing for Bread Financial’s consumer lending and payment services, including regulatory controls and AI-related risks. Manage testing projects and provide risk-based guidance to business stakeholders.

- Create test plans and lead regulatory compliance testing activities
- Evaluate organizational risk and internal control effectiveness
- Review business processes and procedures supporting compliance activities
- Advise business teams on practical approaches to implementing compliance management programs
- Partner with stakeholders through risk-based guidance informed by business-process knowledge
- Communicate with key stakeholders and influence decision-makers up to two levels above the role
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned departmental functions
- Lead, motivate, and support the development of the compliance testing team
- Oversee projects and provide training to associates
- Deliver ongoing performance feedback to compliance testing associates
- Define the scope and approach for transactional and control-environment testing based on applicable laws and identified risks
- Create review scopes aligned with business-area and process expertise
Талаптар
- High school diploma or GED required
- Five to eight years of experience in consumer credit, banking compliance, or a related field
- Must be authorized to work full time in the United States without current or future sponsorship
- F-1 student visa holders are not eligible for employment
- Ability to travel up to 5% annually
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent education preferred
- Preferred certifications include CRCM, CERP, CIA, CFSA, ACAMS, PMP, CPA, or similar credentials
- Six or more years of experience in consumer credit lending and banking compliance preferred
- Experience assessing controls and processes for TILA, ECOA, UDAAP, FCRA, SCRA, MLA, and related regulations
- Experience writing SQL and extracting and evaluating data from internal warehouses such as EDW, EDH, and Databricks
- Knowledge of AI tools and experience evaluating consumer compliance and IT risks against guidance and frameworks such as NIST and ISO 42001
