Provide inside sales support for Schaedler Yesco Distribution’s electrical customers in Pittsburgh. Handle bids, orders, product guidance, vendor coordination, delivery information, and customer communications onsite.

  • Explain available products and services to customers
  • Help customers select products and determine suitable applications
  • Explain credit policies, delivery options, internal services, and training events
  • Provide accurate details on product availability and delivery timelines
  • Track bid opportunities through the follow-up process
  • Manage bid and sales-order products, including vendor purchasing, customer issue resolution, lead-time updates, delivery coordination, and credit processing
  • Coordinate with vendors to secure special pricing when applicable
  • Support sales and gross-margin growth
  • Use vendor websites to research products, pricing, availability, and product cut sheets
  • Review and manage daily reports and queues covering bids, open orders, and credits
  • Handle inbound and outbound communications promptly and professionally
  • Keep daily schedules, email, and voicemail current
  • Partner with Outside Sales to maintain account pricing and contact records
  • Complete ongoing education on company products, services, and solutions
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, vendors, Counter, Warehouse, and other departments
  • Attend training sessions and company events when required

  • Previous electrical sales or electrical distribution experience is required
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with Eclipse software is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with customers accurately and on schedule
  • Ability to collaborate with vendors and internal departments
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to protect confidential and customer-related information
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including sales and negotiation techniques
