Work with conventional documents and structured sources including XML and AsciiDoc
Produce PDF and, when required, HTML outputs through established production workflows
Apply revisions and verify changes across successive proof stages
Protect the meaning, numbering, marks, and instructions in assessment questions
Apply accessibility standards and modified-paper requirements
Create or adapt illustrations and graphics in Adobe Illustrator when required
Keep files, versions, and Jira records accurate and up to date
Escalate unclear instructions or missing assets promptly and provide clear handovers
Spot recurring errors, inefficient manual tasks, and opportunities for automation
Suggest process improvements to colleagues to help prevent avoidable rework
Own the quality and completeness of assigned work with Technical Lead guidance and Production Coordinator scheduling support

Background in publishing, editorial production, typesetting, prepress, technical documentation, document production, or a similarly accuracy-focused environment
Working knowledge of professional layout or document-production tools, including styles, templates, and consistent formatting
Strong attention to typography, layout, and detail
Experience interpreting markup, verifying revisions, and controlling document versions
Ability to progress multiple assignments toward agreed deadlines
Clear communicator who knows when to seek technical guidance
Dependable approach to confidential content, established standards, and feedback
Interest in content structure and processing, with willingness to learn new tools and workflows
Experience with InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, or Jira is advantageous
Familiarity with structured content, HTML/CSS, or scripted content-processing tools is useful
Availability based in the UK
