Data Visualization Engineer – Power BI
Build enterprise Power BI analytics for Baker Hughes’ energy business, supporting self-service reporting and AI-enabled insights. Help advance modern data platforms and make analytics easier to adopt across the organization.

- Build and maintain enterprise dashboards, scorecards, semantic models, and analytics in Power BI.
- Work with Data Engineering teams to deliver business solutions using Databricks and enterprise data products.
- Turn complex business needs into intuitive visual experiences that encourage adoption, self-service analytics, and data-informed decisions.
- Create reusable metrics, KPIs, semantic models, and reporting standards that improve consistency and confidence in enterprise reporting.
- Apply visualization practices that support strong user experience, accessibility, storytelling, performance, and actionable insights.
- Support AI-enabled analytics tools such as Power BI Copilot, ThoughtSpot Spotter, and Databricks Genie.
- Identify ways to automate reporting, provide intelligent recommendations, and reduce manual analysis with AI-assisted analytics.
- Contribute to platform modernization, including Tableau rationalization and migration to strategic analytics platforms.
- Keep analytics solutions aligned with enterprise governance, security, privacy, and data quality standards.
- Resolve reporting, semantic model, performance, and user adoption issues across supported visualization platforms.
- Develop standards, documentation, and training materials to speed adoption of enterprise analytics capabilities.

- Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, data analytics, engineering, or a related field.
- Bring at least five years of experience developing enterprise analytics and visualization solutions.
- Have strong practical expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query, report development, deployment, and workspace governance.
- Have development or administration experience with ThoughtSpot and/or Tableau.
- Have strong SQL, data modeling, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Have experience with Databricks, cloud data platforms, or modern lakehouse architectures.
- Understand enterprise analytics governance, security, and data management practices.
- Have worked directly with business stakeholders to turn requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
- Have experience supporting enterprise-scale Power BI and analytics platforms.
- Be familiar with Microsoft Fabric, AI-assisted analytics, and modern Data & AI architectures.
- Understand conversational analytics, natural language querying, and AI-generated insights.
- Have experience implementing or supporting tools such as Copilot, ThoughtSpot Spotter, Genie, Pulse, or similar intelligent analytics capabilities.
- Have experience with analytics platform migrations, modernization programs, and self-service analytics initiatives.
