Inspect vehicle damage and prepare or review repair estimates
Virtually assess structural, body, mechanical, and interior damage
Create comprehensive damage reports and repair estimates with specialized software
Maintain appraisal records, photographs, and claim-related communications
Interpret insurance policies to evaluate coverage and liability
Negotiate fair settlements with repair facilities and customers in line with company policies
Coordinate with customers, repair shops, and insurance adjusters throughout each claim
Deliver customer service and respond to client questions and concerns
Monitor industry developments, repair methods, and emerging vehicle models
Apply current repair technology and estimating practices

Талаптар

Associate degree or equivalent professional experience
Vehicle repair knowledge gained through repair facility work, appraisal duties, or collision repair coursework is preferred
I-CAR certification is highly beneficial
Experience with CCC, Mitchell, or Audatex estimating systems is strongly preferred
Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage determinations, and claims procedures is beneficial
Strong customer service abilities and professional written and verbal communication are highly beneficial
Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are beneficial
Maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record when driving a personal or company vehicle
Obtain and retain state adjuster or appraiser licenses where required
