AI Forward Deployed Engineer, Commercial
Build AI solutions with Databricks, Salesforce, and large language models for Worldwide Clinical Trials’ commercial teams. Improve prospecting, proposals, bids, and pipeline decisions in a remote role available in eligible U.S. states.

- Develop AI tools for demand operations, prospecting, proposal creation, and bid development.
- Build and improve proposal and bid drafting tools using approved content and sponsor-specific context.
- Connect AI applications to Salesforce and other commercial systems using opportunity, account, pipeline, and marketing data.
- Create search and knowledge tools for proposal, contract, and bid materials.
- Work with DemandOps to improve intake, account segmentation, pipeline visibility, and win-rate insights.
- Support prospecting with next-best-action recommendations and AI-assisted outreach content.
- Work with end users to refine products, gather feedback, encourage adoption, and measure business impact.
- Track solution performance and usage, and continually improve AI capabilities and user experience.

- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and relevant experience.
- At least two years of hands-on experience with Databricks and modern data and AI platforms.
- At least two years of LLM application engineering, including prompt and context engineering, retrieval, structured outputs, and evaluation.
- At least two years of Python experience and the ability to deliver user-facing applications through web, Databricks, or Microsoft 365 environments.
- Experience building on Salesforce as a primary commercial system of record, including opportunities, accounts, pipeline, reporting, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of commercial operations, including sales funnels, demand operations, prospecting, pipeline management, proposals, and bids.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Copilot, MLflow, Databricks Vector Search, Databricks Genie, Genie Code, or GenieOne is preferred.
- English proficiency.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with commercial and technical stakeholders.
