Temporary Assistant Program Coordinator, Physician Assistant Clinical Education | Emory University

Support Emory University’s Physician Assistant clinical education program through clinical agreement management, preceptor records, leadership support, and student documentation coordination.

Description

  • Manage and process affiliation agreements and clinical site contracts with external healthcare organizations
  • Coordinate with Legal, Procurement, and Risk Management on new agreements, renewals, and amendments
  • Track expiration dates to keep clinical sites compliant and active before student placements
  • Act as the primary administrative liaison for external clinical site coordinators on documentation and onboarding
  • Maintain CORE ELMS records for preceptor credentials, clinical sites, licenses, and contact details
  • Onboard clinical preceptors and collect, verify, and archive required records
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Clinical Education, Clinical Coordinators, and PA Program Leadership
  • Arrange travel, process expense reports, and coordinate logistics for faculty visits, preceptor events, and clinical orientation workshops
  • Prepare, proofread, and distribute communications, policy updates, and newsletters
  • Respond to clinical-year PA student inquiries about administration, site compliance, and document submissions
  • Coordinate the collection and archiving of student and preceptor evaluations and end-of-rotation exam records
  • Support Clinical Year Orientation and Graduation activities
  • Handle other related responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Highly organized with careful attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with healthcare executives, physicians, faculty, and students
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information in accordance with applicable regulations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
