Studio Coordinator, Fashion Island (Part-Time, Onsite)

Coordinate operations at CorePower Yoga’s Fashion Island studio while supporting cleanliness, staff coordination, student service, studio systems, and yoga class delivery.

Description

  • Coordinate daily studio operations and uphold CorePower Yoga’s health and safety standards
  • Support the Studio Manager with membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and Studio Experience Team recruitment, and program enrollment goals
  • Work 18–29 hours per week onsite across operations coordination, teaching when certified, health and safety procedures, front desk guidance, and team support
  • Serve as the primary contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is absent, for up to 20 hours per week
  • Manage studio supply inventory and student amenities
  • Welcome students, build community at the front desk, and represent the CorePower Yoga brand
  • Assist teachers with point-of-sale and pre- and post-class responsibilities
  • Maintain studio cleanliness, functionality, heat, humidity, music, and safety standards
  • Explain Smart Health Protocols to students
  • Clean the studio, replenish amenities, and follow required cleanliness procedures
  • Interview, hire, schedule, train, discipline, and terminate Studio Experience Team employees when needed
  • Lead orientation for new Studio Experience Team members
  • Coordinate point-of-sale, online reservation, class subbing, HRIS, and Help Desk systems
  • Support late-cancel fees, waitlists, student inquiries, facilities tickets, and operational follow-up
  • Teach at least six branded CorePower Yoga classes each week and cover additional classes as needed

Requirements

  • Demonstrate alignment with CorePower Yoga’s core values
  • Bring strong oral communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills
  • Have prior customer service experience
  • Be comfortable using studio systems such as HRIS, intranet, point-of-sale, scheduling, and payroll platforms
  • Build effective relationships with people who have diverse personalities, work styles, and levels of seniority
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple deadlines
  • Show initiative and enthusiasm when taking on new projects
  • Use Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Demonstrate excellent time management
  • Take initiative and set priorities independently
  • Be available for morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday shifts, with schedule flexibility
  • Move throughout the studio, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • If certified to teach, step in to lead classes with little or no notice while scheduled onsite
  • Completion of a Yoga Alliance-certified 200-hour program is preferred
  • Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred
  • A college degree, preferably a BA or BS, is preferred
