Staff Product Manager, Brand Protection — Walmart

Lead Walmart Marketplace’s brand-protection product strategy, including AI-powered self-service and automation. Build scalable tools that protect intellectual property and strengthen customer trust.

Description

  • Lead Walmart Marketplace product strategy for brand protection.
  • Translate the needs of customers, sellers, brands, and Walmart associates into experiences that protect brands and customer trust while supporting legitimate seller growth.
  • Replace manual brand-protection processes with self-service tools and automation.
  • Provide brands with stronger tools to protect their intellectual property.
  • Help associates investigate and resolve issues more quickly, consistently, and at scale.
  • Identify ways brand-protection capabilities can increase Walmart Marketplace’s value to brands.
  • Help brands invest in, establish, and expand their businesses on Walmart Marketplace with confidence.
  • Develop brand-protection products that support brands, sellers, Walmart associates, and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field plus 7 years of product management experience, or 9 years of product management or related experience.
  • The role qualifications specify at least 8 years of product management experience.
  • Demonstrated success setting strategy and delivering complex, high-impact products at scale.
  • Deep understanding of marketplace ecosystems.
  • Experience in eCommerce, marketplaces, brand protection, intellectual property, trust and safety, risk, or a related field is valuable.
  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML and automation.
  • Experience applying technology to improve decision-making, automate complex workflows, and create scalable products.
  • Ability to turn complex, ambiguous problems spanning multiple users and workflows into clear product strategies, scalable solutions, and intuitive experiences.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field plus 6 years of product management experience.
  • Preferred familiarity with WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
