Sourcing Manager, Retail and Business Operations

Lead sourcing strategy for Allwyn UK’s National Lottery transformation, supporting its next decade of operations. Manage supplier selection, RFPs, negotiations, stakeholder partnerships and savings delivery.

Description

  • Develop procurement strategy and processes for The National Lottery’s next 10 years.
  • Partner with teams in Facilities Management, Fleet, Business Operations, Retail Operations and Product.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and maintain a pipeline of current and future needs to support savings forecasts and efficient procurement.
  • Document business requirements that call for third-party contracts.
  • Research suppliers, create shortlists and issue RFIs when appropriate.
  • Lead RFPs and coordinate supplier presentations with internal stakeholders.
  • Follow procurement operations procedures and provide data for governance and processing.
  • Coordinate across functions to include stakeholder needs in supplier selection and engagement.
  • Select and appoint suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and develop commercial terms with Legal.
  • Deliver and monitor savings while identifying future opportunities.
  • Create category strategy roadmaps and align them with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in Facilities Management, Business Operations, Retail Operations, Product or Supply Chain.
  • At least five years’ experience selecting, onboarding and managing suppliers.
  • Experience drafting, negotiating and managing supplier agreements in Facilities Management, People Operations or Retail.
  • Category knowledge in Facilities Management and Retail Operations.
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to collaborate with senior leaders.
  • Customer-focused approach and ownership of procurement liaison for relevant stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to influence others, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, curious and driven.
  • Flexible approach and willingness to explore categories beyond the stated remit.
  • Basic knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and how to embed them in sourcing.
