Lead presales architecture for VMware, Kubernetes, GenAI, and datacenter solutions at TeraSky. Guide global customers through technical sales, solution design, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
Description
- Manage the technical sales process across TeraSky’s offerings throughout sales cycles
- Conduct customer consulting engagements to deliver Private Cloud solutions
- Prepare technical papers and supporting documentation
- Lead technical discussions across the presales process
- Deliver product demonstrations and proofs of concept
- Design and architect VMware VCF, Kubernetes, GenAI, and datacenter solutions
- Evaluate customer needs and develop high-level designs and scopes of work
- Partner with account managers to manage customers and serve as a trusted technical advisor
- Connect proposed technical solutions to customer business challenges
- Maintain the technical expertise needed to deliver product demonstrations
- Expand solution adoption among customers and partners
- Respond to technical objections and communicate competitive differentiation
Requirements
- At least five years of experience as a Delivery Engineer, Solution Architect, System Engineer, or in a similar role focused on VMware Private Cloud solutions
- Strong curiosity and the ability to rapidly learn, understand, and explain new technologies and advanced concepts
- At least five years of expertise in vSphere environments, including architecture planning and design decisions
- Familiarity with DevOps technologies such as Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD
- Ability to produce high-level solution and scope-of-work documents
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to varied stakeholders
- A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Previous customer-facing experience and experience presenting at webinars or technology conferences is an advantage
