Senior Technical Project Manager, Pune (Hybrid)
Lead Agile and Scrum delivery across multiple technology and shared-services workstreams for TIAA in Pune. Oversee stakeholders, project teams, budgets, risks, metrics, and delivery performance.
Description
- Direct project and program resources and processes to deliver within agreed scope, schedule, quality, and budget
- Build project teams, assign ownership, create schedules, and define resource needs
- Forecast phase-level costs, staffing, and timelines
- Distribute work and resources to achieve project milestones
- Execute approved project plans while tracking progress and performance
- Track project spending, schedules, and staffing levels
- Resolve blockers, risks, and issues that could affect timelines or budgets
- Lead project meetings and produce recurring status updates
- Manage external contractors and uphold expected service standards
- Coach junior professionals, review their work, and delegate responsibilities
- Improve delivery processes and team efficiency across project cycles
Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience
- A university degree is preferred
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams with Agile and Scrum practices
- Experience running sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Capability to manage complete project delivery across several concurrent workstreams
- Experience assessing risks and dependencies and defining mitigation approaches
- Strong engagement skills with stakeholders, product owners, and business partners
- Experience preparing status reports, managing escalations, and communicating project information clearly
- Proficiency with Agile delivery measures such as velocity, burn-down charts, cycle time, and sprint performance
- Practical experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or comparable tools
- Ability to build a collaborative team culture across on-site and remote settings
