Senior Systems Engineer - Kidde Global Solutions (Hybrid, Gdansk)

Lead the development of integrated fire and security systems for Aritech by translating product needs into robust system architectures. Own verification, reliability, requirements management, and coordination across engineering teams.

Description

  • Turn product requirements into complete, integrated system solutions
  • Plan technical work and lead system integration, verification, and validation activities
  • Evaluate systems throughout their lifecycle, from concept and design through deployment, operation, maintenance, and retirement
  • Carry out functional, schedule, requirements-allocation, and interface-definition analyses
  • Convert customer needs into hardware, software, and mechanical specifications
  • Break down customer and system requirements into subsystem and component requirements
  • Establish verification standards, evidence, and project plans
  • Explore architectural options and assess system-level approaches
  • Set objectives for requirements management, reliability, logistics, collaboration, and performance measurement
  • Assess technologies, resources, processes, equipment, and systems to strengthen organizational quality
  • Maintain project information and actionable dashboards in Confluence and JIRA
  • Improve processes while advancing reliability and collaboration across teams

Requirements

  • At least five years of relevant professional experience
  • A university degree, preferably in a technical discipline
  • Capacity to work independently with limited managerial supervision
  • Practical experience decomposing and allocating requirements
  • Background in system integration, verification, and validation
  • Experience conducting functional, schedule, and interface-definition analyses
  • Experience translating system-level requirements into subsystem and component requirements
  • Experience creating verification criteria and plans
  • Experience with requirements management and reliability practices
  • Experience using Confluence and JIRA, including building dashboards
  • Willingness to relocate to Gdansk, Poland
  • Availability for full-time work under a standard employment contract
