Senior System Analyst – Poland Remote

Senior System Analyst responsible for translating payment-processing needs into APIs, data models, and Back Office specifications. Help improve FinteqHub’s secure payment orchestration platform and its integrations.

Description

  • Translate business requirements into precise technical specifications
  • Document domain entities, logical data models, use cases, forms, APIs, permissions, logs, business rules, edge cases, and system behaviour
  • Specify frontend-backend interactions, API contracts, validations, and data flows
  • Assess existing payment-provider and banking integrations
  • Investigate L3 incidents and change requests, then define the system updates needed to resolve them
  • Address complex Back Office challenges by improving usability and user workflows
  • Develop analytics and reporting solutions for high-volume transactional data in ClickHouse
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager and UI/UX Designer on mockups that balance user needs with technical constraints
  • Support architecture and solution design alongside the architect, engineers, and QA team
  • Recommend practical solutions, communicate trade-offs, and help shape API and system design decisions
  • Take part in peer reviews to strengthen the quality, consistency, and precision of specifications
  • Maintain and enhance documentation, specification templates, and team standards

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience working as a System Analyst
  • Background in payment systems, payment gateways, fintech, or banking is preferred
  • Experience designing APIs, logical data models, integration patterns, and microservice architectures
  • Advanced BPMN and UML modelling skills, including Sequence, State Machine, Use Case, and Class diagrams
  • Hands-on experience with Postman, browser DevTools, and JSON editors
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
  • Able to explain technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-directed and accountable, with the adaptability to manage shifting priorities and raise risks early
  • English proficiency at B1 level or above for documentation writing
  • Fluent Russian for team communication
  • Knowledge of payment security, compliance, and regulations such as PCI DSS, KYC, AML, and GDPR is advantageous
  • Understanding of complete payment lifecycles, including authorisation, capture, refunds, chargebacks, 3DS, withdrawals, and reconciliation is advantageous
  • Domain-Driven Design (DDD) experience is advantageous
  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases is advantageous
