Description

  • Develop and tailor ServiceNow applications, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management modules
  • Write Business Rules, Script Includes, and other custom scripts to automate workflows and satisfy business needs
  • Connect ServiceNow with external platforms through REST, SOAP, and other web services
  • Manage users and roles, perform system maintenance, and conduct platform health checks
  • Adapt user interfaces, forms, and workflows to operational requirements
  • Support end users and diagnose integrated processes and platform issues
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data analysis products with users, stakeholders, and management
  • Contribute to technical process reviews, postmortems, and ongoing process improvement
  • Keep current ServiceNow and industry certifications and pursue additional credentials

Requirements

  • Technical training, relevant certifications, or a degree
  • At least three years of related experience
  • Experience developing and tailoring ServiceNow applications and ITSM modules
  • Experience creating and consuming SOAP, REST, and other web services
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language, preferably JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Import Sets, Transform Maps, and the CMDB
  • Ability to assess requirements, troubleshoot problems, and devise technical solutions
  • Understanding of Agile testing practices from smoke testing through integration testing and production deployment
  • Ability to identify, understand, document, and build functionality aligned with customer value streams
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced software development environment
  • Ability to quickly identify and learn new technologies
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities
  • Ability to advance methodology changes, manage customer deliverables, and resolve process issues
  • Ability to serve as a technical authority and contribute to proposals and technical specifications
  • Ability to lead Scrum demonstrations, working groups, and team initiatives
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders, mentor junior colleagues, and support staff development
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
  • An active Top Secret clearance or DOE "Q" Access Authorization is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required
