Description
- Design and deliver Salesforce CPQ and Apttus CPQ solutions that meet business needs and support strong system performance.
- Build and tailor CPQ pricing capabilities using advanced rules, custom scripting, and multi-dimensional quoting scenarios.
- Set up Salesforce CPQ product catalogs, quote templates, contracts, and renewal processes.
- Oversee complex approval workflows and connect CPQ platforms with enterprise systems.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, improve processes, and deliver scalable CPQ capabilities.
- Diagnose and fix issues involving CPQ configuration, pricing behavior, and quote workflows.
- Coach junior developers while providing technical direction across the team.
- Assess system performance, review code, and introduce changes that strengthen reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of progressive software development experience, including substantial hands-on work with Salesforce CPQ and Apttus CPQ.
- Experience configuring and customizing Salesforce CPQ.
- Expertise in Apttus CPQ pricing and product configuration.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ scripting and automation.
- Experience implementing Salesforce CPQ multi-dimensional quoting.
- Experience configuring Salesforce CPQ advanced approvals.
- Experience designing Salesforce CPQ quote templates.
- Experience managing Salesforce CPQ contracts and renewals.
- Knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture and data modeling.
- Experience integrating CPQ with enterprise systems.
- Ability to optimize and troubleshoot CPQ workflows.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is preferred.
- Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist certification or an equivalent credential is preferred.
- Relevant Apttus CPQ certification is preferred.
- Preferred additional experience includes Salesforce Lightning component development, REST and SOAP API integration, Agile delivery, large-scale CPQ implementations, and CPQ analytics, reporting, or dashboard tools.
