Senior Remote AI Annotation Team Lead
Lead annotation teams delivering high-quality AI training data for Gramian Consulting. Oversee workflows, performance, coaching, staffing, and timely project delivery.
Description
- Oversee annotation batches from launch to delivery, meeting quality standards and deadlines.
- Turn client guidelines into practical instructions for annotators and Pod Leads.
- Coordinate teams, set daily production goals, and balance staffing and workloads.
- Track productivity, quality, turnaround times, and operational metrics.
- Coach and retrain team members to address performance gaps and recurring quality issues.
- Work with QA and tooling teams to resolve bottlenecks and improve annotation processes.
- Identify strong performers and help prepare them for future leadership roles.
- Monitor progress, flag risks and blockers, and update the Project Lead.
- Maintain annotation quality and operational efficiency under tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Bring 4–6 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a team leadership or supervisory role.
- Have experience managing teams against productivity, quality, and delivery targets.
- Demonstrate strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Interpret complex guidelines and turn them into clear instructions and workflows.
- Manage competing priorities, staffing needs, and time-sensitive deliverables.
- Show close attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
- Be available for the specified schedule throughout the 16-week project.
