Senior Quality Systems Engineer - Onsite in Gelang Patah, Malaysia

Senior Quality Systems Engineer responsible for strengthening TechnipFMC’s quality management systems in an onsite Malaysia role. The position covers audits, training, regulatory compliance, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement.

Description

  • Support the Department Manager with Quality Management System implementation and the development of related tools
  • Drive ongoing improvements to the Quality Management System
  • Create and coordinate induction training that builds employee awareness of site quality processes
  • Track applicable regulations and update management documentation within the required timeframe
  • Propose quality policies and procedures that support high standards across products, processes, and services
  • Perform detailed statistical analysis and implement actions based on the findings
  • Maintain effective criticality-rating systems and surveillance for procured items
  • Provide regular updates on system performance and new developments

Requirements

  • University degree or an equivalent qualification gained through relevant experience
  • At least 8 years of experience in Quality or Operational Excellence
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver business improvements in cost, lead time, quality, and operational efficiency
  • QMS (ISO/API) Lead Auditor certification
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships across organizational levels and functions
  • Knowledge of QMS requirements, including API Q1, API Q2, ISO 9001, and ISO 29001
  • Practical knowledge of QMS applications such as internal auditing, management of change, document control, process development, and industry standards
  • Experience in projects, operations, or manufacturing environments
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification, with experience applying the methodologies
  • Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Fluency in additional languages, preferably the language used in the relevant geographical area
  • Experience with HSE management systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
