Accountant, 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract
Handle reconciliations, IFRS reporting, asset accounting, and audit support at Principia Energy, a Greek renewable energy producer. This is a one-year, full-time hybrid role in Greece.
Description
- Reconcile vendor, customer, and general ledger accounts
- Prepare and track monthly revenue and expense accruals
- Post bank transactions and reconcile bank accounts
- Maintain asset records and handle capitalization, settlements, depreciation, and reconciliations
- Contribute to month-end close and group reporting
- Help prepare financial statements in line with IFRS
- Assist with finance integration and migration work related to mergers and acquisitions
- Support external auditors during annual and interim audits
- Take on finance and accounting projects as needed
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- SAP ERP experience is an advantage
- Strong written and spoken English
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Good organization and time management
- Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
