Build Java and Python applications, APIs, and microservices at Vantor, supporting its spatial intelligence mission. Contribute to secure, cloud-enabled capabilities for national security applications.

Description

  • Design, build, test, and deploy scalable Java and Python applications and APIs
  • Produce clean, efficient, well-documented code
  • Develop and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Connect applications with third-party APIs and services
  • Administer SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL
  • Work with frontend engineers, product managers, and QA teams
  • Improve application performance and resolve technical issues
  • Apply security best practices to data handling and API authentication
  • Implement cloud services and related APIs when needed
  • Support, maintain, and enhance existing applications and APIs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of professional experience
  • Eligibility for U.S. citizenship
  • Active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Python, with experience in frameworks such as Spring Boot, Flask, or Django
  • Solid knowledge of REST, GraphQL, and SOAP API architectures
  • Experience using API development tools including Postman and Swagger UI
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Git
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum practices
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
