Description

  • Design and deliver high-performance web applications with React, Node.js, and TypeScript throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Lead the delivery of secure, reproducible, version-controlled cloud environments with Terraform.
  • Create and deploy event-driven applications using AWS Lambda and related AWS services.
  • Administer serverless state, IAM access controls, and application performance.
  • Apply AI-assisted tools including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude to speed delivery, automate testing, and modernize legacy code under manual security and quality review.
  • Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure releases.
  • Serve as a technical expert within client teams, support junior engineers, and communicate architectural roadmaps to customer stakeholders.
  • Convert complex business needs into secure serverless architectures and advise clients on practical best-practice improvements.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated commercial experience in a full stack development position.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures.
  • Advanced hands-on knowledge of React Native, React, Node.js, TypeScript, and Angular.
  • Experience developing modular, reusable components for mobile applications.
  • Strong experience with AWS infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS serverless services such as Lambda.
  • Strong understanding of automation and CI/CD, with experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and other third-party APIs.
  • Professional experience using GraphQL.
  • Strong knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration platforms including Kubernetes and ECS.
  • Experience creating automated tests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Consultative approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, plus the capacity to explain technical ideas clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Confidence working independently with ownership in agile, client-facing environments.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for client or team sessions when needed.
  • Must be based in the United Kingdom.
