- Review AI-generated code for security, performance, scalability, maintainability, and correctness.
- Create user interfaces and administrative tools that enable business processes and operational effectiveness.
- Build scalable event-driven systems with Kafka and distributed messaging technologies.
- Design and improve the central AI agent orchestration layer and runtime harness for complex multi-step execution and model routing.
- Maintain end-to-end quality across interfaces, APIs, databases, integrations, and event-driven services.
- Establish automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous delivery practices.
- Apply observability and monitoring solutions to strengthen application reliability and production support.
- Contribute to architecture assessments, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
- Support engineer growth through knowledge sharing, design partnership, and sound engineering practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver quality software in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- A degree or equivalent experience, generally accompanied by at least seven years of relevant software engineering work.
- At least seven years of professional software development experience.
- Practical expertise with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
- Experience building web applications with Angular, React, Vue, Next.js, or comparable JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong experience designing low-latency agent execution loops that support native multi-step tool execution.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including PostgreSQL.
- Experience with event-driven system design and messaging platforms such as Kafka.
- Experience with source control, CI/CD, and contemporary software delivery methods.
- Background creating and running automated tests.
- Strong capabilities in troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
- Experience with Azure services and cloud-native application development.
- Experience deploying applications in Docker containers.
- Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or JPA.
- Familiarity with Redis or comparable caching systems.
- Experience with feature management platforms such as LaunchDarkly or Optimizely.
- Experience with database migration solutions such as Liquibase or Flyway.
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms, including Dynatrace.
- Experience with distributed tracing, metrics, and structured logging.
- Prior work in healthcare, pharmacy, or another highly regulated sector.
