Description

  • Own the enterprise architecture roadmap and keep it aligned with business priorities
  • Define architecture principles, standards, and governance practices
  • Guide technology decisions across business units and platforms
  • Connect architecture decisions to ROI², covering both return on investment and return on impact
  • Map the application landscape and set integration and modernization direction
  • Lead the shift from monolithic systems to microservices and API-led architecture
  • Promote scalable, modular, and reusable solutions
  • Design and govern platform ecosystems spanning data, AI, and ESG capabilities
  • Advance the Tools-to-Platform transformation through reusable services, shared capabilities, and improved developer productivity
  • Support delivery of the Azure cloud strategy
  • Improve scalability, security, and cost efficiency through FinOps
  • Architect cloud-native and hybrid technology environments
  • Set enterprise integration patterns across APIs, event-driven systems, and middleware
  • Lead data architecture for platforms and lakehouses, including governance and lineage
  • Promote data-as-a-product practices
  • Maintain enterprise architecture governance frameworks
  • Create and oversee the Architecture Review Board and design authority forums
  • Strengthen compliance, risk controls, and standardization
  • Assess and support adoption of AI and GenAI platforms, data frameworks, ETL and data pipelines, integration platforms, and automation frameworks
  • Enable innovation within defined guardrails
  • Collaborate with business leaders, product teams, and engineering teams
  • Advise senior leaders, including the CTO, Head of Data & Innovation, Head of Infrastructure, and Chief Product Officer

Requirements

  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or equivalent
  • Strong background in application architecture, platform engineering, and Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Experience designing API-first and event-driven architectures
  • Experience with Model Driven Engineering
  • Knowledge of metadata management and cataloging
  • Expertise in Azure cloud, with knowledge of AWS and GCP
  • Experience with lakehouses, data platforms, ETL or ELT, and data governance
  • Experience with APIs, microservices, and middleware technologies
  • Experience with CI/CD and automation pipelines
  • Understanding of enterprise security and compliance models
  • Ability to translate business strategy into architectural direction
  • Strong judgment and trade-off analysis skills
  • Experience in complex, globally distributed enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated success scaling platforms and ecosystems
  • 12–18 or more years of experience in technology roles
  • At least 5 years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture
  • Experience with digital transformation, platform-based product development, and large-scale system integration
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Preferred credentials include TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and AWS or GCP cloud certifications
