Senior DevSecOps Engineer – Entarian, Virginia Remote

Lead secure MFOM system design, integration, and container engineering as a DevSecOps specialist. Support Entarian’s mission-critical technology solutions for the United States Navy.

Description

  • Lead complex MFOM computer engineering initiatives across system design, software, networking, integration, and sustainment
  • Convert requirements and architectural decisions into practical, implementable designs
  • Evaluate technical approaches, interfaces, code and configuration, and test outcomes
  • Investigate complex incidents and performance issues, determine root causes, and direct corrective actions that protect availability, security, and data integrity
  • Offer technical leadership to engineering teams
  • Partner with architecture, software, systems, database, infrastructure, and quality teams throughout release cycles
  • Support technical assessments, change-impact reviews, deployment planning, and engineering documentation
  • Set senior technical direction for container engineering, including platform-service integration, release pipelines, security controls, and MFOM interfaces
  • Deliver engineering support for the MFOM system serving the United States Navy

Requirements

  • Hold an active US Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Earn a master's or bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a computer science concentration, from an ABET-accredited program
  • Possess DoD 8570/8140 Level II or III certification
  • Hold an AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
  • Bring at least 10 years of experience with a master's degree or 14 years with a bachelor's degree in computer design, software development, or computer networks
  • Have at least one year of container experience, which may overlap with other experience
  • Demonstrate senior-level experience designing, integrating, and sustaining secure, scalable cloud-native or hybrid enterprise systems
  • Understand AWS architecture and operations, infrastructure as code, automation, CI/CD and DevSecOps, database and API integration, monitoring, and disaster recovery
  • Experience with container orchestration, image lifecycle management and hardening, deployment automation, and troubleshooting distributed containerized workloads
