Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure Infrastructure | Commit | Remote in Belarus

Lead Azure infrastructure, CI/CD, and container platforms supporting Commit’s precision-irrigation Digital Farming products. Drive production reliability and automation with R&D teams across global locations.

Description

  • Lead CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and automation frameworks to support fast, dependable software delivery across teams.
  • Build and operate cloud-native Azure infrastructure with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Design and maintain scalable container platforms using Kubernetes and Docker-based deployments.
  • Drive production readiness through monitoring, reliability engineering, and incident response.
  • Partner with global R&D teams in Israel and offshore teams across multiple time zones.
  • Own the infrastructure supporting the company’s Digital Farming products as part of a small team.

Requirements

  • Advanced hands-on Azure experience covering portal operations, architecture, networking, security, monitoring, automation, and infrastructure as code.
  • Practical experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code development.
  • Experience owning production deployments through CI/CD and source-control platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
  • Production experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience building and operating Docker-based environments.
  • Background in production reliability, including monitoring, incident resolution, security, and compliance practices.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows environments, scripting, artifact management, and modern DevOps toolchains.
  • At least seven years of hands-on DevOps experience in cloud-native product environments, including production operations and release ownership.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also acceptable.
  • Experience with Azure IoT Hub, Service Bus, Event Hubs, and related Azure platform services is preferred.
  • Experience with Cosmos DB, Redis, SQL Server, and Azure Data Explorer is preferred.
  • Experience with Podman, Conan, and Artifactory is preferred.
  • Experience using AI-based tools to improve DevOps productivity is preferred.
