Senior Data Reporting Analyst at Cambia Health Solutions (Hybrid)

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a senior analyst to turn sales, broker, and health plan data into reporting that supports better decisions. The role combines analytical modeling, enterprise reporting, data governance, and stakeholder leadership.

Description

  • Analyze sales and broker performance data to support performance insights and business decisions
  • Evaluate health plan operations data to inform cost-containment initiatives
  • Build analytical models and reporting outputs
  • Create advanced methods and enterprise reporting solutions suited to senior-level work
  • Surface data or process issues and propose practical resolutions
  • Contribute to quality-improvement programs
  • Expand expertise in health plan operations, data sources, data structures, and cost-containment practices
  • Define reporting needs, coordinate report development, and share resulting information
  • Conduct or oversee acceptance testing for reports, programs, and analytical models
  • Record business requirements and the methods used to produce deliverables
  • Advance analytical innovation, leading practices, data governance, and process efficiency
  • Provide guidance on analytical programming tools and techniques
  • Lead analyst project work and support team training
  • Facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Data Reporting Analyst: bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, computer science, or a related discipline plus three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Data Reporting Analyst Senior: bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, computer science, or a related discipline plus seven years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, ranging from proficient to highly advanced
  • Ability to capture and document business requirements
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, from solid to advanced
  • Advanced understanding of health plan operations, data sources, and data structures
  • Working knowledge through advanced expertise in data-mining tools and techniques, including SAS and OLAP
  • Working knowledge through advanced expertise in server reporting services, including SPSS, Minitab, and Tableau
  • Knowledge of analytical programming tools and approaches, including SAS, SQL, OLAP, Business Objects, and Crystal
  • Capability to create reporting tools and dashboards
  • Business familiarity with finance, accounting, economics, risk management, public health economics, social service research, or epidemiology
  • Ability to coordinate, schedule, and prioritize work across several projects
  • Proven record of successful project management
  • Senior candidates need progressively responsible leadership experience and the ability to represent the division in internal meetings
  • Experience with AI tools and technologies is highly desirable
  • Successful completion of a background check is required
  • New hires must be able to use a personal mobile device for multifactor authentication
  • The work-from-home option requires wired internet with at least 5 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download speeds; satellite and cellular connections are not accepted
