Description

  • Join daily stand-ups and coordinate with product managers, product analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Clarify data needs for product features, reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
  • Turn business requirements into technical data solutions.
  • Develop and improve Snowflake pipelines, transformations, semantic models, Cortex AI solutions, data quality checks, and reporting datasets.
  • Partner with architects and technology teams to shape solution designs.
  • Design data models, semantic views, APIs, and pipelines.
  • Specify source-to-target mappings and data governance needs.
  • Assess performance, scalability, and security in solution designs.
  • Develop and support enterprise ETL solutions and data pipelines with IBM DataStage.
  • Deliver dependable data integration in line with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Create scalable pipelines and improve data movement.
  • Support data warehouse, data lake, and Lakehouse platforms.

Requirements

  • Bring at least six years of relevant experience.
  • Have strong practical knowledge of IBM DataStage 11.7 or later, including parallel jobs, sequencers, parameter sets, monitoring, administration, and performance tuning.
  • Demonstrate advanced SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
  • Have substantial experience with Oracle and DB2.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support complex ETL/ELT solutions using DataStage and enterprise pipelines.
  • Build reusable DataStage ETL frameworks, including parameterized jobs, metadata-driven solutions, and automated workflows.
  • Translate business and technical needs into scalable ETL designs and data integration solutions.
  • Use DataStage for data extraction, transformation, validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and loading.
  • Integrate Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Snowflake, flat files, XML, JSON, Parquet, and cloud storage through DataStage.
  • Work with multiple source and target systems spanning structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • Bring deep Unix shell scripting skills and experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Astronomer.
  • Have experience with Snowflake pipelines, transformations, semantic models, Cortex AI solutions, data quality checks, and reporting datasets.
  • Have experience with data warehouse, data lake, and Lakehouse platforms.
  • Payments processing experience is an advantage.
  • Experience handling sensitive PCI or PII data is an advantage.
  • Agile experience is an advantage.
