Join EY’s financial-services technology practice as a Senior Angular Developer on an international nearshore project. Build scalable frontend applications and connect user interfaces with REST APIs and backend services.

Description

  • Contribute to an international nearshore project serving financial-sector clients
  • Develop, maintain, and improve enterprise web applications with Angular
  • Create frontend interfaces and components using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS
  • Build reusable, responsive, scalable, and high-performing components
  • Connect frontend applications to REST APIs and backend services
  • Convert functional and business needs into practical technical solutions
  • Contribute to application architecture and design decisions
  • Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, architects, backend developers, and other stakeholders
  • Produce clean, testable, and maintainable code
  • Review code with other team members
  • Develop and maintain automated tests
  • Assist with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Diagnose and resolve application and production-environment issues
  • Conduct debugging and root cause analysis
  • Improve application performance, usability, and maintainability
  • Maintain security, accessibility, and quality standards
  • Help keep production applications stable and operational
  • Contribute to technology modernization and ongoing improvement initiatives
  • Take part in Agile ceremonies such as planning, refinement, and delivery tracking
  • Help maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
  • Work with distributed teams across Brazil and the United States
  • Prepare and update technical documentation
  • Share technical knowledge and effective practices with the team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
  • C1/C2-level English proficiency and the ability to communicate in an international setting
  • Substantial experience building enterprise web applications with Angular, ideally version 12 or newer
  • Proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS
  • Background developing reusable, scalable, high-performance frontend components
  • Experience connecting frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services
  • Familiarity with Git and established version-control practices
  • Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and fixing web-application issues
  • Ability to recognize and deliver performance and usability enhancements
  • Knowledge of frontend engineering best practices and code organization
  • Experience supporting and improving applications running in production
  • Experience working with Agile approaches such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Ability to partner effectively with Product Owners, business teams, architects, and backend teams
  • Analytical thinking, independence, clear communication, and a strong focus on delivery quality
  • Experience with Angular Material, RxJS, NgRx or other state-management tools, Bootstrap or PrimeNG, automated testing, digital accessibility, CI/CD, DevOps, cloud platforms, frontend security, monitoring, observability, application modernization, financial services, regulated settings, or international teams is advantageous
  • Certifications in Angular, cloud, Agile, DevOps, or software development are advantageous
