Senior AI Engineer - São Paulo (Hybrid)

Description
- Partner with clinical, operational, and administrative teams to clarify requirements before defining solutions
- Design and deliver generative AI solutions with Claude Enterprise for practical business use cases
- Build and integrate applications with Node.js, .NET, and React
- Own end-to-end delivery through Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, with infrastructure hosted on GCP
- Act as a technical and consultative resource for engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders
- Monitor solutions in use and improve them based on feedback and business needs
- Create generative AI, automation, and integration prototypes and MVPs
- Connect internal systems, databases, web applications, and AI tools
- Contribute to the design of agents, copilots, assistants, and intelligent workflows
- Evaluate solution feasibility, effort, risks, and architectural options
- Promote secure practices for data use, authentication, logging, and application security
- Document implementations and help mature MVPs into production solutions
Requirements
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js and/or .NET
- Strong frontend development experience with React
- At least 7 years of technical experience in full-stack engineering and REST API integrations
- Hands-on enterprise experience building generative AI solutions, including Claude Code and Cowork, prompt engineering, integrations, agents, and enterprise guardrails
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps pipelines, releases, boards, and deployment governance
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform for deploying, storing, and monitoring AI applications
- Experience with solution architecture and senior-level software engineering practices
- Ability to lead initiatives independently from start to finish
- Experience with vibecoding in an enterprise environment
- Experience developing AI agents
- Ability to understand business needs, assess As-Is processes, and propose value-generating To-Be processes
- Experience building rapid prototypes and developing them into functional MVPs
- Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or comparable frameworks
- Knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI APIs
- Autonomous working style with a strong focus on delivery
- Ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical audiences
- Innovative approach and willingness to take calculated risks
- Excellent communication skills across executive and operational audiences
- Preferred: experience in healthcare, hospital, or regulated settings; consultative collaboration with business teams; participation in AI squads or cells; and knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, Brazil’s LGPD, data security, and AI governance
