SAP MDG Architect with German in Timisoara
Design and deliver SAP Master Data Governance solutions for Material Master and PLM integrations. Support enterprise transformation programs through architecture, implementation, workshops, and stakeholder collaboration.
Description
- Gather, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements
- Lead business, technical, and solution validation workshops
- Provide functional and technical expertise for SAP Material Master capabilities across MDG-M and PLM applications, including Teamcenter and Oracle Agile
- Manage complex bills of materials and external supplier catalogues
- Prepare and assess cost estimates for RFP and RFQ requirements
- Design solution concepts using standard MM and MDG capabilities, including central governance, consolidation, mass processing, and data quality management
- Create customer-specific enhancements such as PLM-integrated material workflows, UI customizations, data model extensions, validations, and derivations
- Plan and deliver solution implementations while coordinating dependencies
- Coordinate development, configuration, integration, testing, and data migration with global support teams
- Maintain project documentation in Jira or Solution Manager
- Create decision-maker materials and deliver client presentations and workshops in English and German
- Expand knowledge of emerging business and technology topics and contribute to internal knowledge management
- Spot opportunities within active projects and provide technical input for sales activities
- Connect business functions with technical delivery teams
- Provide training and user support as needed
- Work independently and take initiative
Requirements
- SAP MDG-M expertise focused on Material Master Governance
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC
- Strong knowledge of SAP Material Master and MM
- Experience with SAP Workflow
- Experience with SAP Fiori
- Knowledge of the SAP Business Partner Framework
- Experience with SAP Data Quality Management
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive hands-on experience delivering SAP MDG implementations with architecture responsibilities
- Demonstrated expertise in SAP MDG-M implementations
- Experience contributing to large-scale international SAP transformation programs
- Strong understanding of Master Data Management and data governance principles
- Proven ability in solution architecture, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Professional German proficiency is strongly preferred
- Ability to lead workshops, presentations, and stakeholder discussions in an international setting
