Remote Solutions Architect in India

Solutions Architect managing bids, supplier negotiations, partner coordination, and service delivery for A&O IT Group’s managed IT and cybersecurity services. Fully remote from India, with work scheduled to UK office hours.

Description

  • Negotiate costs that strengthen A&O IT Group’s competitive position
  • Bridge the Solutions, Sales, and Operations teams
  • Represent the brand with prospects, customers, and partners
  • Oversee service-related solution activities through successful deployment
  • Lead complex and high-value bids proactively
  • Own and improve the formal bid communications process
  • Coordinate virtual bid teams supporting sales opportunities
  • Respond promptly to stakeholders and maintain timely follow-up
  • Create value-added solutions that secure favorable supplier deals and improve statement-of-work margins
  • Provide technical product insight as a subject matter expert during high-pressure sales engagements
  • Partner with the Solutions team to deliver an integrated Total Solutions offering
  • Create supplier selection and management strategies
  • Improve supplier relationships and operational synergies continuously
  • Manage solutions involving multiple countries and partners

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or MCIPS qualification
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and negotiating agreements
  • Experience delivering solutions within a matrix-managed team
  • Demonstrated IT field service experience, particularly in hardware remedial services
  • Knowledge of bid, customer account, operations, service, supplier, transition, and project management
  • Experience in complex, multicultural, matrix-managed organizations
  • Strong supplier management and relationship-building capability
  • Results-oriented and able to perform effectively under pressure
  • Strategic and forward-looking mindset
  • Ability to drive execution and ongoing improvement in supplier relationships
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Practical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to delegate tasks, responsibilities, and authority effectively
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt communication to different audiences
  • Experience with IT outsourcing, desktop and hardware deployment, service transition, global audits, logistics, procurement, and stock management
  • Experience managing multiple solutions concurrently
  • International project delivery across multiple countries and partner organizations
  • Consultative approach with strong relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinking and solid analytical capability
  • Proven ability to manage customer, supplier, and partner relationships
  • Effective stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of external markets and their impact on the product set
  • Ability to influence business processes without formal hierarchical authority
  • Experience operating in a complex matrix environment
  • Understanding of the technology supporting the product set
