Regional General Manager, M&S Food Supply Chain – Bradford

Lead GXO Logistics’ M&S Food supply-chain operations across Bradford, Daventry and Milton Keynes. Shape regional strategy, customer partnerships, commercial results and operational excellence.

Description

  • Define regional strategy and align site performance with GXO and customer objectives
  • Develop and sustain relationships with senior customer stakeholders
  • Run strategic business reviews and resolve high-level escalations
  • Manage regional commercial performance, including P&L, budgets, forecasts, risks and opportunities
  • Lead, mentor and develop site General Managers
  • Strengthen accountability, succession planning and leadership capability
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for operational, customer, people, safety and commercial issues
  • Promote continuous improvement, innovation and technology adoption
  • Pursue growth opportunities, strengthen resilience and support sustainable contract performance

Requirements

  • Extensive senior leadership experience spanning multiple sites, contracts or complex operational settings
  • Strong commercial expertise, including P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting and contract performance management
  • Track record of building strategic customer partnerships and converting customer needs into value-added solutions
  • Experience guiding senior operational leaders and building high-performing leadership teams
  • Executive-level communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven delivery of change, continuous improvement and innovation in large-scale operations
  • Strong analytical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Availability for predominantly Monday-to-Friday working
